In this episode Caylen and Phil jump back into the technical talk and touch on some big picture topics regarding external ballistics. They discuss the progression of our understanding of projectiles in flight, the different ballistic solvers, and some common misconceptions on the science that are still floating around in the community today. Expect to hear a lot more on this topic in coming episodes because there's so much to discuss! Wrapping up, they discuss a couple listener questions in a brief Q&A session.

In robotics we have what is known as the right hand rule for Axis’s. You trigger finger pointing straight out thumb up middle finger 90 degrees from your trigger finger. Your middle finger is the “X” axis, your trigger finger is the “Y” axis and your thumb straight up is the “Z” axis. Each Axis has a rotational axis around itself, they are little “y” little “y” and little “z”. It can be related to a bullet in flight.

Can't thank y'all enough for podcasts like these. Technical as this one might be, it's still deeply philosophical in approach. A key thing I've really taken from y'all is the human being is the real handicap. If I'm a 12" variable at 1000 yards and my SD is a 2" variable at the same distance, which one needs more attention? ME. I appreciate y'all boiling this stuff down to superbly digestible concepts!
